about me

Hi, my name is Ferris.

I became a therapist because of my own experiences as an adolescent client seeking mental health support. It was challenging to find a therapist who could meet me where I was and create non-judgmental space for my ongoing search for Self. When I did find the right fit, therapy not only changed my life but helped me to invent the one I wanted. This was the genesis of a life-long mission to offer this transformational experience to others.

I believe that looking inward and returning to our authentic Self is a profound act of resistance and healing in our complex society.

I know that while life can be beautiful it is also challenging, and at times it might feel like we’ve lost the plot. My job is to support you in living as your most authentic Self, however that unique process might look for you. By creating a safe working environment, we can explore what archaic thoughts and behaviors may or may not be serving you at this moment in your life. We will work collaboratively and compassionately to identify how you might make shifts in your being to live with more clarity, ease and vibrancy.

I believe that you possess the innate ability to heal and thrive, and together we will work to enhance and develop your natural inclination.

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #119357). I have a Master’s Degree in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development from Prescott College. I live in Berkeley, California and provide therapy for clients living within the state of California.
